Meet our Team
Dentist Dr Tim Doyle BDS
GDC Registration 79860
Dr Tim Doyle graduated in 2001 from the Royal London Hospital and has practised in dental practices in the South and South West of England before opening Shelley Manor Dental in 2010. He grew up in the New Forest and went to school in Bournemouth, where he now lives with his family.
Tim enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially restorative and cosmetic work. As a cosmetic dentist, he likes to enhance his patients’ smiles and offers tooth contouring, teeth whitening, veneers, crown and bridge work, restoring implants and dentures. Tim Doyle is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).
Tim thinks that well fitting dentures are very important and is a firm believer that being able to chew properly can add several years to a person’s life, notwithstanding the pleasure to be had from a lovely meal.
Additionally his special interest is in the treatment of jaw pain and headaches (called temporomandibular joint disease), which can cause a range of problems with people’s jaw joints, their ‘bite’ and severe headaches.

Matt, whose mother and father were both dentists, has a patient focused approach and is passionate about providing comfortable dentistry in a caring and relaxed environment. He uses his experience to blend innovative techniques with proven treatments to provide predictable outcomes, with the long-term health of the mouth as the goal. Dental Nurse Miss Chelsie Andrews
GDC Registration 241222
I have worked in dentistry since 2011 with experience in NHS and private practices. I have been working at Shelley Manor Dental since April 2015 alongside studying Psychology at Bournemouth University. I really enjoy nursing with bridge cases as I learn more about how teeth are affected by the variation in jaw positions. Tim has a special interest in occlusion, i.e. how the teeth bite together, therefore this makes it very interesting for me. Outside of nursing I enjoy salsa dancing, walking along our South’s beautiful coast and exploring different places.
Reception Mrs Sharon Rayner
I have worked as a dental receptionist and previously cover nurse for 25 years in both private and NHS surgeries. I enjoy meeting and reassuring patients and assisting with their queries. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and long walks with our dog.
Dental Technician Emily Whitmarsh
GDC registration 207808
Emily qualified as a dental technician with extended scope of practice in 2014. She has worked in a variety of dental practices in London, gaining experience in both NHS and private dentistry. Upon graduating Emily moved down to Dorset to continue advancing her knowledge and skills. Emily works closely with us at Shelley Manor Dental to bring her extensive knowledge of dental prosthetics to benefit our denture patients. Emily has a strong understanding of all denture types ranging from simple one-tooth denture cases to full implant-retained smiles for edentulous patients and WeldOne techniques.
Emily has continued to study whilst working, recently undertaking an impressions course at Kings College London; a CADCAM course with Ivoclar and a Gum Composite course with Ivoclar. Emily’s main focus of expertise is composite work; she takes great care in discussing with the patient the shade and tone of gum and tooth work in order to get an exact fit to that patient’s mouth and thus a more natural smile.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys creative writing (she is currently on her second book!), photography and travelling.
